Camp Cavett News and Activities

Due to flooding in the Lake Texoma area, we have to combine the Camp Cavett Summer Camp and Kamp Kidney. Both camps will be at Central Christian Camp near Guthrie and the dates are August 10-12, 2007.

Attention Camp Cavett Campers!! If your mailing address has changed, please contact Donna, (405) 271-5758 as soon as possible. We would like to send out camp information by the beginning of May so need those updated addresses. Thanks!

Personnel

Fifty staff volunteers come to Camp Cavett every year. This includes two nurses for each cabin because of the nature of the children's illnesses. Volunteers that work throughout the year on the project include personnel from Oklahoma City University , The United Methodist Camp Office, and the Chaplains Office at Children's Hospital of Oklahoma .
